DIAL South Essex
DIAL offers a confidential disability information, advice and advocacy service to disabled people, carers or anybody with a disability related issue. We help people with any type of disability and offer help on any subject. Most of DIAL’s staff and volunteers are disabled and understand what our clients are going through as many have been in the same situation themselves. We can help with benefits, mobility, leisure, aids and adaptations, etc. We operate some outreach advice, home visiting, appeals and casework representation along with income maximisation, benefit applications and financial issues. We are now able to help our clients whose first language is not English by using interpreters by appointment only.
Our Advice Service
We are continuing to operate our advice service from our main office and are building up our outreach service. We are attending other locations in Thurrock for general enquiries. If you would like to discuss any issues with us in person then please telephone, message or email.
We can still help you to find out your entitlement to welfare benefits and to complete application forms to apply if you would like us to. To book an appointment or for further advice please telephone 0333 366 1045, telephone or text 07786 088538 or email enquiries@dialsouthessex.co.uk between 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

The Happy Hub in Basildon

We are unable to complete any forms at this location but are happy to have a chat and offer advice on any issue you may have relating to disability. Pop along and see if we can help you.
